On 22 April, SOU “Orde Chopela” in Prilep hosted a Multiplier Event under the Erasmus+ project Green Labs 4 VET, marking Earth Day by showcasing innovative approaches to sustainable education.
The event highlighted the newly developed Green Lab – a smart greenhouse, designed as a modern learning space where students gain hands-on experience with green technologies. The greenhouse features soil moisture sensors for automated irrigation, rainwater use through a drip system, and photovoltaic panels that provide renewable energy for its operation.
Students also cultivate aromatic and medicinal plants, later used in the chemistry lab to produce natural cosmetic products -linking practical learning with real-life applications.
The event served to present project results, promote green skills, and demonstrate how Erasmus+ initiatives can support the transition towards more sustainable and innovative education.
